Raul Carbajal, Sr.
Executive Chef

With over 30 years of gourmet culinary experience, Raul Carbajal, Sr., attended culinary school in Mexico City. He has cooked in a variety of restaurant environments, and he spent 15 years as Chef at The Arizona Club in downtown Phoenix. He founded his own business, Mr. Gordo’s Cuisine, in 2001, to freshly prepare appetizers from scratch for wholesale distribution by Sysco Foods and Gourmet foods to buyers across the nation in California, Nevada, New York and more. As Magic Touch Catering’s Executive Chef, he prepares all of our food in-house to guarantee consistently superior quality and taste. Passionate about infusing authentic, palate-pleasing flavors in show-stopping dishes that are as delectable as they are delicious, he is proficient in cooking many types of cuisines, from Latin American and Mexican to Greek and Asian.



Juana Carbajal
Owner, Event Planner and Client Relationship Manager

Founder of Magic Touch Catering, Juana Carbajal studied Business at Glendale Community College. An entrepreneur-at-heart, event planner and food stylist, Juana works directly with Magic Touch Catering clients to plan their special events, including weddings, corporate events, milestone birthday parties and traditional quinceañeras. She handles internal operations as well as manages the company’s over 15 employees.





Raul Carbajal, Jr.
Sous Chef, Event Planner and Sales Manager

Raul Carbajal, Jr., joined the company in 2004 to assist with sales, people management, fresh food preparation and day-of-event cooking. He works side-by-side with Juana as Sales Manager, engaging in everyday client-facing activities like complimentary catering tastings, event consultations, email correspondence, estimate presentations and appointment setting. Additionally, he coordinates directly with Magic Touch Catering’s preferred vendors as well as takes a leadership role among the staff.




Christian Carbajal
Sous Chef and Events Captain

Christian Carbajal assists with daily operations, including fresh food preparation, day-of-event cooking and event staff management.
